Ashley Lawson joins the Blue Zones Project Corry team as Public Policy Advocate.

Immediately prior to joining the Blue Zone Project, Ashley was the Honors Program Coordinator at Gannon University where she received her Master of Public Administration degree.

Ashley is committed to her community and believes that everyone can and should do something to make a difference in their town. Currently she sits on the board of the Erie Metropolitan Transit Authority and the board of trustees for the Jefferson Educational Society where is also President of their Civic Leadership Academy Alumni Network.

Her passion for public policy stems from a hope that everyone can love their community as much as she does. Focusing on the Blue Zones Project work in the Built Environment, Food Policy, and Tobacco Policy she aims to make Corry a happy, healthy, and attractive community for its residents and visitors.

Ashley is an Erie County native, but her passion for traveling has taken her all around the world to more than twenty countries. When not working in policy or traveling, Ashley enjoys swimming, tea drinking, and spending time with her friends and family.
